The laboratory is accredited by Clinical Pathology Accreditation (UK) under reference number 1175 for cytogenetics, molecular cytogenetics and molecular genetics. The laboratory takes part in relevant National External Quality Assessment schemes (NEQAS) and usually achieves excellent performance reports.
